Characteristics of Leasing Companies


In Japan, various companies such as financial institutions, wholesaling and retailing, manufacturing, transportation, telecommunication, construction, electric power, and gas enter the leasing industry, establishing new leasing companies or doing leasing businesses in-house.
At present, affiliated companies to JLA are 281 and the ones to Japan Automotive Lease Association are approximately 400.
JLA conducts 'survey of current circumstances of the member companies' annually. They are categorized in terms of size of capital and employee size based on the latest result from the survey.
